[Tiger 321]

1/6 Figures on Tour at Aberdeen Proving Ground

This began by posing some of my Dragon 1/6th scale German Army figures with my Tiger tank during it's construction. It helped to give scale to the tank and provided an opportunity to have some fun. Then I thought about posing them with the real thing. A trip to Aberdeen PG in Maryland USA during August 2003 was the perfect chance to bridge the gap between the actual German WWII vehicles and 'toy soldiers'.

If you don't know, Dragon releases it's figures with a name. Here is 'Falkner'. My next visit to Aberdeen will include 'Dieter' and 'Christian'.

I also provide the Aberdeen Inventory Number if you wanted to locate the vehicle yourself.

One of my favorites, Falkner sitting on the business end of a Flak 41, 88mm. .
Can you spot Falkner? He's sitting on the leading edge of the right track of this JagdTiger, a monster armed with a 128 mm Pak 44 L/55 gun.
Having spotted something, Falkner stands ready on the front of a Panzer III. This tank was equipped with a 50 mm gun. Inventory # FMCV25
Against the glacis plate of a Panzer IV Ausf D, along side my authentic German helmet.
Sitting on the left rear of a Panther Ausf G. Inventory # FMCV76
