Use
and Fitting of the Spacer Washers
Due to a manufacturing error, the bearing bore in the double wheel
CE0213 has been machined to a depth of 25mm. This bore should be
26mm deep. This results in the wheels binding up when the axle sets
are assembled and tightened into place.
In order to rectify this situation a pack of sixteen brass spacer
washers is enclosed. These washers should be fitted to the axle
just before the double wheel and it's bearing, in every case. Following
this modification it will be possible to fully tighten the axle
components and the wheels will remain free to turn.
Next
set of wheels (CE0213) have two tires. The steel spacers have also
been fitted to the shafts.
And
another set of double tired wheels (CE0213) fitted.
The final set of road wheels (CE0206) with single tires. These wheels
have the six threaded holes for the hub caps.
