The car was delivered to my Connecticut home in 1998 and is now in my garage.  A brief story of how I found the coupe and recent history is here.  I'm still looking for the dash components for this car.

So far I've got a 1500 engine and transmission with the correct serial number for the year of the car.  During the spring of '99, I was very happy to have found a set of original chrome trim for the front and rear glass.  On October 17, 1999, I bought an original pair of leather seats in very good condition.  They are black with white piping and are the correct pattern for coupes.  On February 18, 2000, the dash arrived from Washington.  I still need switches and gauges, a center armrest.

There are fifteen, 8-12K thumbnails here; Please be patient while they download.  Click on the thumbnail to view a larger image (720x480). Want more? Check my MGA Coupe archives.

Good looking windscreen, just don't use the wipers!
The boot lid is in excellent condition, complete with the octagon badge. The heaviest of the surface rust on the car seems to be along the lower panel.  Note the additional nonstandard lights below the originals.

Engine bay looking down on steering rack.
Looking into the interior through the left door. The steering wheel to the left is in bad shape. Notice the excellent condition of the frame.
Rust which is usually a problem between the top and fender seam doesn't seem to be present in this picture.
Unfortunately the right rear window is broken.

The car poses for a photo opportunity in the driveway.  Here I am with my kids, Sarah and Jimmy in the engine bay.
