went out to verify the chassis number of the car. Here it is under it's
cover. January 8, 2006 |

This
was the first time it was uncovered since December of 1999. Somewhat hard since I could still imagine my Dad standing there.

The
engine is from a MGB. Fortunately the top of the cylinders are filled with
oil. I had forgotten the cylinder head was off the car. |

This
is what I was looking for; the chassis number. This verifies it was 1960
model. |

The
car was moved from it's covered spot and rolled into the garage/shed in
my Mom's yard. It was only a move of about 30 feet, but required my Saturn
and a bit of pulling and pushing by hand to get it in. No steering wheel
made it more difficult. I wanted to get it inside before the big snow storm
was to hit that evening. Should be better protected there. February 11,
